Investments
Development of the Center for Adult Training "Verba Docent" Aradon a land owned by the Excelsior Association, located along DJ 709DJ Arad-Iratosu road
Includes:
- Sports training hall and organization of events - sports, cultural, fairs. - approx. 1200 m2245 m x 28 m.
- Administrative building – including changing rooms, lecture hall (events), offices, bathrooms and toilets, accommodation rooms, storage rooms. - approx. 500 m2.2.
- Sports field, with artificial grass and nocturnal – 60 m x 40 m.
- Adequate facilities for professional training and organization of fairs and events.
Development of the Gyula Social Center. PB2, Koros-Maros Alapitvany in the locality of Gyulavari, belonging to the city of Gyula, in the vicinity of Wenckheim-Almássy castle.
Includes:
- Course organization room.
- Accommodation rooms with social purpose.
- Storage spaces.
- Adequate facilities for professional training.
ACTIVITY
- "Organization of courses for professional training of adults" - Excelsior Association and Koros-Maros Foundation. 33 courses were organized in fields such as: eco-farmer, mixed ecological farm operator, environmental protection officer, sports instructor, sports entertainer, sports event organizer, home care for the elderly, computer and network operator, brewer and others. The courses were attended free of charge by 560 people, unemployed, looking for a job, from disadvantaged social categories such as people with no income, people with minimum insured income, Roma, people with disabilities, women, who come from families with more than two children, from single-parent families, homeless people, victims of domestic violence.
- Organization of "Job Fairs" - Excelsior Association and Koros-Maros Foundation. Starting from the 2nd year of the project, 4 actions were organized by each of the 2 partners in Arad and Gyula. At least 400 unemployed and jobseekers participated in the actions. Local commercial companies operating in fields such as agriculture, health, sports, food, tourism, hotel industry, etc. were invited to present their job offers.
- The creation and promotion of a local, Romanian-Hungarian brand of the producers from the Crișul Alb valley – the Excelsior Association and the Koros-Maros Foundation. The brand has a visual identity that includes traditional signs characteristic of the communities in the Crișului Alb valley, both from the Romanian and Hungarian sides. The brand will be used free of charge by producers and makers of handicrafts in the target region. The brand and producers (minimum 10) were promoted by ensuring participation in Agromalim Expo Arad, as well as on the web pages of the partners.
