The purpose of the Verba Docent project is to help disadvantaged people integrate into the labor market. In addition to the training courses offered free of charge within the project, the Excelsior Association organized job fairs dedicated to trainees, unemployed and disadvantaged people, in order to get in touch with employers.
The organized fairs were of two types:
- General job fair;
- Job fair in the fields of health, agriculture and tourism.
These events took place in Arad or in other localities in the county, during the week, in a suitable location to facilitate the participation of people looking for a job.
Starting from the 2nd year of the project, 4 actions were organized by each of the 2 partners in Arad and Gyula.
At least 400 unemployed and jobseekers participated in the actions. Local commercial companies active in fields such as agriculture, health, sports, food, tourism, hotel industry, etc., were invited to present their job offers.
